First day in Brighton!
At 10.00 the gate was opened and we were allowed to enter the plane. Once in the plane, I discovered I sat down right to a girl and boy who also were travelling to Brighton but one with a pick-up service and one to hove. Therefore I could only walk with the boy to the train station and got, again, on my own in the train. I discovered I really love traveling alone, since you can just do whatever you want and on anytime.
Once in Brighton I got to the residence where I will be staying the coming 2 weeks. The pilot noticed that the weather was quite colder than back home, but once outside it was very sunny and quite warm (18/19 degrees).
The staff of the Embasy English college showed me my room and the building to let me know where I can go and what I can do. Once I did all my clothes in the closet, I had taken a shower and changed clothing I decided to wander around Brighton.
To get to the city centre of Brighton I have to walk through the Train Station. Once outside the train station there is a long down-hill road, where the cars drive on the left instead of right (which i'm still not used to).
The city centre of Brighton is really busy and there are a lot of tourists walking around discovering the place and shopping in the malls. I found out that three of my favourite clothing stores, where I buy online from, are located in Brighton. These clothing stores are the Topshop, Hollister and Pull and Bear. I love these stores so much, that I could be able to walk in there for hours. When I discovered that it is sale in the Topshop I had to get in there and, not a surprise, I bought a high-waisted jeans, a crop-top and a sunflower hair crown. I am in love with my new purchases and looking forward to wear them in the future.
When I finished shopping, I walked down the lanes towards the sea - I wish I had that view in my home town!
Once at the boulevard I decided to walk at the beach, which consists of stones and sand. Right in front of me the Old Brighton Pier was located and I took a couple of pictures behind one of the broken pier pieces, because it was very windy.
Whilst I made the pictures I discovered that the new Brighton Pier was not far away from the old one and decided to walk down there.
The Brighton Boulevard has an amazing atmosphere to be around and has the best view in the whole world. When I arrived at the Brighton Pier I walked up the Pier and took, once again, some pictures of the amazing view and pier. I really love the fact that there are some rollercoasters and a casino on the pier, it gives the Pier such a lovely atmosphere.
Done with the Brighton Pier, I decided to walk my way back to the residence which was about 15 minutes walking up hill. At the residence I ate dinner and now I am writing this story for you guys!
I will keep you updated whenever I can!
Cheers! (people say this, as a goodbye-thank you, all over the U.K apparently)
